Biography

Pamela Anderson was born on July 1st 1967. At first her Cancer the Crab sign does not seem to fit, but scratch beneath the surface and you will note her characteristics of moodiness along with protectiveness of family, friends and animals. Born in British Columbia, her first glimpse of fame came as a Centennial Baby. She was the first baby delivered on Canada's Centennial Day.

She was literally discovered at a Canadian football game in 1989. While attending a game with her friends her image appeared on the large stadium screen and the crowd, understandably, went wild. She was wearing a Labatt's Blue t-shirt and the beer company promptly signed her for a modeling contract. From there she headed to L.A. and turned up on Home Improvement which led to her role on Baywatch. It is this show that she is best known for.

Pamela has a lot of two's in her life, she has two sons, was engaged twice, had implants installed two times and wrote two books. Her first book was entitled Star and the second which came out in 2005 was called Star Struck. They are thought to be semi-autobiographies.

One could say her greatest work is as a spokesperson and member of PETA. Whether you agree with that organizations hard line or not, her stance on the protection of animals is quite commendable. In 1999 she won the first Linda McCartney Memorial Award for her campaign against fur. She has used her considerable fame to both speak out against abusive practices against animals and take action towards procuring a change of those practices.

Ms. Anderson has reportedly not dated anyone seriously since 2003 after her breakup with musician Kid Rock. She currently stars in the Fox television series Stacked co-starring Christopher Lloyd, Elon Gold and Brian Scolaro.
