Anneliese van der Pol
Anneliese Louise Van Der Pol was born on September 23, 1984 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. Her father is Dutch and her mother is an American hailing from Brooklyn, NY. She has two sisters and is of Jewish heritage. Her family moved to the United States when Anneliese was three years old. She retains dual citizenship between Holland and the United States. She began acting in the third grade and graduated from the Musical Theater Program of Orange County High School of the Arts. In 1999 she played Eva Peron in the play Evita, staged by the Buena Park Civic Theatre. She received good reviews for her acting by the Los Angeles Times. She later starred in a rendition of Oklahoma! as Laurey for the Austin Musical Theater from 2000 to 2001. She earned the Austin Critics Table Award nomination for Best Actress for her acting in the play. In 2002 Anneliese won the role of Chelsea Daniels in the series That's So Raven, which airs on the Disney Channel. Chelsea is the best friend of the lead character Raven Baxter. In addition to acting she also has a vocal range of soprano and sings for various Disney events and campaigns. In 2004 she recorded the song Over It for the Disney movie Stuck in the Suburbs. She also recorded A Day in the Sun for That's So Raven Too! She has also participated in The Lion King Special Edition DVD and the Cinderella Special Edition DVD. She continues to appear on That's So Raven on the Disney Channel. Tidbits
