Born on December 2nd, 1981 Britney Spears is a true, through and through Sagittarian. She loves the limelight and freedom to do what she wants when she wants to do it. Hailing from McComb, Mississippi she's a true southern girl who was later raised in Louisiana. At an early age she showed an affinity for fame, she loved gymnastics and started appearing on the Mickey Mouse Club at the age of eleven.

Her first musical hit came in 1998 with Hit me Baby One More Time. Her video which portrayed a short skirted, pigtailed school girl was an immediate hit with pre-teens all over the world. The album sold over 25 million copies worldwide since its debut. Her second album, Oops!...I did It Again, which has spawned nearly as many jokes as it has sold copies, was also an overnight success. Oops! was the fastest selling CD by a female artist in history when it was released. It sold 20 million copies, an unheard of amount of sales for a girl who was barely 18 years of age at the time. Her third album, Britney, made her the first female artist to ever have three CD's hit number one in their first week. Her forth CD, In The Zone also went to number one in its first week.

Britney has done better with her CD's than she has with her relationships. Her four year romance with Justin Timberlake ended in March 2004. The break-up left Timberlake in such a state that he resorted to verbally bad mouthing his ex on every TV show he could appear on during that time. As Captain Hook would have said, "Bad Form." She then had a ridiculously brief marriage to her childhood friend Jason Alexander. She married Kevin Federline, who was one of her back-up dancers in September, 2004.

All in all it seems that Britney's heart is in the right place. She has been under the microscope of the media since she was seventeen years old and has handled the scrutiny with more grace than many women twice her age. For instance Diane Sawyer seemed to find it necessary to hoodwink and "outwit" her young interviewee for the pure cat and mouse pleasure of it during her 2003 interview of the young pop star.

Given her obvious talent for entertainment, despite critical distain for her work, and her more than apparent intelligence, it seems that she will have no problem finding her proper place in the world.
