Adriana Sklenaříková was born on September 17, 1971 in Brezno, Slovakia which was formerly known as Czechoslovakia. Adriana's early years were influenced by being raised in a communist country. Although her home land has since forsaken Communism, she says that she remains somewhat tough from her early experiences of great hardship under the former regime. She was born to a Slovak mother and Czech father. She originally studied medicine in Prague and planned on becoming a Doctor. However, Adriana gave up her studies to become a model. She is currently one of the most recognized supermodels in Slovakia. She has appeared in numerous fashion magazines and print ads all over Europe and the Baltic States. She has enormous fame and a thriving career all over Europe, but has yet to make her mark in the United States. Many feel she will soon begin making appearances in States and once she does her fame will spread to North America as it has all over Europe, Russia and Slovakia. Adriana met Christian Karembeu in France and the couple married on December 22, 1998. Christian Karembeu is a French football player. Adriana dropped the last name of Sklenarikova and took her husbands name Karembeu both professionally and personally. We can't imagine why. This blond haired blue eyed model is best known as the International supermodel with the longest legs. Her hip-to-heel measurement is 124 cm (49 inches).
