Biography

Patricia Anne Stratigias was born on December 18, 1975 in Ontario, Canada. She is a professional wrestler and fitness model. She was the first woman in WWE history to hold the championship title six times. Even though she did not aspire to be a professional wrestler once she began in the ring, she quickly gained popularity and experience.

Patricia was initially a university student in Toronto. She had the intention of applying to medical school upon completing her BA. She took a job at a local gym to support herself while attending college and it was suggested to her at that gym that she consider posing for Muscle Magazine. Soon after, she was discovered by the WWE agents during a brief stint as a co-host of a wrestling show. She was invited to start training as a pro wrestler. Being a big fan of the WWF in her youth, she jumped at the chance. Subsequently she was trained for the ring by several prominent trainers and wrestlers, including: Molly Holly, Dave Finlay and Ron Hutchinson.

She first appeared on the WWE in 2000. She is best known for her Stratusfaction and Ma Trish moves in the ring. She loves her wrestling career and refused to pose for Playboy so that her reputation as a woman's champion would not be tarnished. She does pose, however, for many fitness magazines, such as, Muscle Magazine, Flair and Total Women's Fitness. She has a grueling workout schedule and devotes much of her time to staying lean, mean and at fighting weight. But her hard work has paid off; as mentioned she was the WWE's women's champion six times and she was voted WWE's Babe of The Year three times to date.
