Tea
This Chilean herb smells nicer than mint and is an excellent digestive
stimulant that also supports liver and gall bladder function. It
is disinfecting to the urinary tract and useful for people with
cystitis. Available as a tea or tincture.
Chaparral
Tea
This Southwest herb can be used in tea, tincture, or tablet form.
It is a traditional treatment for cancer used by curanderos in
Arizona and New Mexico. Available as loose leaf tea, in tablets,
and as a tincture.
Cleaver's
Tea
Ingrid's carminative tea made with cleavers and sarsaparilla and
lovely spices: ginger, cardamon, galangal, star anise, pepper,
and cloves.
Ojibwa
Tea, a version of Essiac
This famous formula or a variation of it is sold in almost every
health foods store.
Pipsissewa
Tea
This tea might be a littel stronger than boldo. It encourages
elimination by stimulating the flow of urine. It also tends to
reduce blood sugar. Available as a tea or tincture.
Violet
Tea
This is a variation of Ingrid's lymphatic tea, using violets,
one of the remedies for cancer favored by Hildegard of Bingen,
and the same carminative herbs as found in the cleavers tea.
Yarrow
Tea
Hildegard of Bingen recommended yarrow to prevent metastasis.
Many today also use it to protect the liver from damage while undergoing
chemotherapy. Available as a tea or tincture.
