Sienna Miller
Sienna Rose Miller was born December 28, 1981 in New York City. Her mother is South African and ran the Lee Strasberg Acting Academy in London. After her parents divorce when she was a young girl she moved to the United Kingdom with her mother. She attended school in Ascot, Berkshire and also studied at the Lee Stasberg Institute of Acting in New York City. She has one sister and two half brothers. She started as a model prior to acting. She got her first major motion picture role in South Keningston in 2001. Her second role was in High Speed. Later came more recognized roles in Layer Cake, Alphi and Casanova. She received minor reviews for her roles in these films, neither great nor bad. She posed in a special Vanity Fair magazine 2006 issue, topless and smoking a cigarette. In 2004, Miller became engaged to actor Jude Law with whom she co-starred with in Alphie. The couple split after Jude issued a public apology to her for cheating on her with his nanny, Daisy Wright. The relationship ended completely by 2006. Sienna is best known for her fashion style and has been named as the provocateur of the "boho-chic" style. Many young girls try to emulate her look and the phrase "Siennas" came from the hordes of young girls in the UK who try to copy her style. Tidbits
