Biography

Brittany Anne Bertolotti was born on November 10th, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia. She is of Irish and Italian decent. Her parent's divorced shortly after she was born and she was raised first in Edison, New Jersey and later in Burbank, California by her mother. Her father being completely out of the picture Brittany used her mother's last name as her surname rather than his name Bertolotti.

Brittany started acting at a young age landing her first job at nine singing in an adaptation of Les Miserables. Her first TV role came at age fourteen when she had a recurring part in the series Drexell's Class. For a short time during the 1990's she was the lead singer in a band called Blessed With Soul. She continued to appear on television and had roles in Sister Sister, Boy Meets World and King of the Hill, as the voice of Luanne Platter.

In addition to her television roles she also has appeared in many motion pictures including: Clueless, The Devil's Arithmetic, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. She was finally recognized for her acting talent and won a great deal of critical acclaim for her role in Girl Interrupted which starred Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie and Woopie Goldberg. She continued her film career with roles in Summer Catch, Don't Say a Word, Just Married, Uptown Girls, Little Black Book, Sin City and The Groomsmen. She has several films and other assorted projects due out in the coming years. She has also continued her singing career and in 2006 released a track with Paul Oakenfold called Faster Kill Pussycat on the album A Lively Mind. The song has become a big hit on the club scene and went to number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play.
