Laetitia Casta
Laetitia Marie Laure Casta was born on May 11, 1978 in Pont-Audemer, France. Her mother is from Normandy, France, her father from Corsica, France. She has an older brother and a younger sister. Her modeling career began when she was discovered by a photographer during a family vacation in Corsica when she was fifteen years old. A photographer and agent of a prestigious Paris modeling agency called Madison Models saw her lounging on the beach with her family and approached her to ask for a test photo shoot at the Madison Models offices. Her parents refused initially but then changed their minds at their daughter's prompting. She won over the agency at her test shoot and they promptly sent her on several assignments. Shortly after this she was signed by Guess? Jeans to be one of their Guess? girls. She is best known for her Victoria's Secret modeling. She started modeling with the clothing and lingerie company in 1996. However, she has appeared in multiple magazines including three Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues, Rolling Stone, Elle, Vogue and Cosmo. She has also appeared in several French films and TV shows and plans on making acting a priority in the future. On the personal front, Laetitia gave birth to a daughter in 2001. The father of her first daughter is her ex-boyfriend Stephane Sednaoui. She became engaged to actor Stefano Accorsi in 2005. Tidbits
