Anna, Anna bo banna. Sorry for the digression, Anna Nicole Smith was born on November 28th 1967. A perfectly typical Sagittarian she is known for her fiery, free wheeling, outspoken and eccentric nature. Born Vickie Lynn Hogan in Huston, Texas her ultimate life goal was to be the next Marilyn Monroe. Indeed she was dubbed the next Marilyn by Playboy after posing on the cover in a low-cut white gown. After years of struggling as a single mother, she finally got a break in the modeling biz after replacing Claudia Schiffer as the Guess? Girl. In 1993 she again posed for Playboy, this time as the nude centerfold, and was named Playmate of the Year by that magazine. The following year, at the ripe age of 26, she married billionaire Howard Marshall who was a mere 89 years old. Yes, I did say 89. Yes, that is nearly 90. Obviously Mr. Marshall's eyesight was not the first thing to go. The marriage did not last long, and not for the usual Hollywood reasons; happy Howard died the following year of, you guessed it, old age. A law suit ensued which pitted Anna against Marshall's son E. Pierce Marshall. The fight still goes on at the date of this writing. As Anna's legal bills went up so did her weight. Her career suffered and she dropped out of the limelight for several years. She re-appeared in 2002 with her reality series on E!, The Anna Nicole Show, which became quite popular with TV fans, although not loved by critics. (The understatement of the year). It lasted until 2004 and was finally cancelled. She kept her momentum going, however, and became the spokesperson for TrimSpa losing a reported 80lbs by using it. She continued as the spokesperson for TrimSpa and appears, here and there, in brief celeb stints. She has also become a member of PETA and posed in a parody of Gentlemen Prefer Blonds with the caption, "Fur-free blondes are Best." Tidbits
