Jennifer Aniston was born on February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California. Many actresses have been given the title of America's Sweetheart. But with Jen's easy smile, gregarious personality, and outspoken, honest and blunt attitude I give her the title of America's Salty Sweetheart. Jennifer's father was a long time soap star and acted in such daytime shows as Days of Our Lives and Search for Tomorrow. It might have been where she got her early love of acting. She attended the LaGuardia School of Music, Art and Performing Arts and was a member of the Drama Club.

She had a rocky road in her early attempts at fame and had roles and guest spots in many failed TV series. However, it was a blessing that she decided to be tenacious because just as she was about to throw in the towel and quit acting for good she landed her most famous role as Rachael Green on the smash hit Friends in 1994. Originally she was being auditioned for the role of Monica Geller but convinced the casting crew that she would do a much better job as Rachael. She was right. NBC's Friends lasted an amazing ten years and was one of televisions highest rated shows right up to its final episode. She received an astounding one million per episode in the shows last two seasons.

During, and since, Friends she has appeared in several big screen films including The Good Girl, Derailed, Rumor Has It, Along Came Polly, Bruce Almighty and Office Space. She received great reviews for the low-budget Good Girl and achieved some success with Polly as well. She has won seventeen acting awards to the date of this writing.

In 2005 she was linked romantically with her co-star of The Break Up, Vince Vaughan. She remains close "friends" with the cast of the TV show of the same name and continues to land roles in major motion pictures. She's smart, beautiful, and funny as all hell, and continues to earn the title of America's Salt of the Earth.
